Is It Worth Traveling for Dental Treatment? An Honest Answer With the Numbers (2026)
For implants, crowns and All-on-4, usually yes, even after travel. When it isn't worth it, the real risks, and 8 questions to ask before choosing a clinic.
Before you decide on treatment, you probably wonder what the clinic is really like — not in an ad, but when you walk through the door. So Dr Natalija Konatar takes you through our clinic in Belgrade's Vračar district. It takes less than a minute.
Dr Natalija Konatar shows you the clinic (48 seconds, in Serbian with German subtitles)
“Our dental mission began, quite by chance, 20 years ago in Doboj.”
Dr Natalija and Dr Ninoslav Konatar opened their first practice in Doboj. Years later, the second one followed — in Belgrade.
“Together with my husband Ninoslav, we founded our second practice, now in Belgrade.”
“With modern technology the results are predictable, because our patients can see the result in advance.”
The clinic has its own X-ray and 3D scanner, so plans are not made by guesswork: before treatment we see exactly what your bone and teeth look like and, for larger work, how your new teeth will look. You decide once you know what to expect — not afterwards.
“We really try to give all our patients, wherever they come from, the same dedication, expertise and care.”
Many of our patients come for a few days from Germany, Austria or Switzerland. So we arrange as much as possible in advance: appointments, the treatment plan and, if needed, transfers and accommodation.
Dr Natalija is a specialist in preventive and paediatric dentistry. For her, trust comes first:
“The most important thing is to build trust, so that a visit to the dentist is a pleasant experience, not a source of fear.”
Implants and prosthetics at this clinic are done by Dr Ninoslav Konatar. Meet him here: Who will treat you? Besides Belgrade, we have clinics in Čačak, Doboj, Bijeljina and Banja Luka.
