For crowns, veneers and a Hollywood smile, one trip of 5 to 7 days is enough. Implants need two trips: 2 to 3 days first, then about 3 months later, 3 to 4 days. For All-on-4 and All-on-6 the first trip takes at least 4 days, and the second, about 3 months later, 4 to 5 days.

How many days does each treatment take in Serbia?
The number of trips depends on whether implants are placed. Implants need about three months to fuse with the bone, so the permanent teeth go in on the second trip. Crowns and veneers are finished in one trip.

Why do implants need two trips?
Because the implant has to fuse with the bone before the permanent crown or bridge goes on. That takes about three months, and it can't be skipped.
On the first trip the implant is placed. With All-on-4 and All-on-6 you usually get a fixed temporary bridge the next day, so you don't go home without teeth. During the break you live normally at home. On the second trip impressions are taken and the permanent crown or bridge is fitted. You get your exact schedule together with your treatment plan. These are typical examples, so you know what to expect.
Implant: two short trips
- Trip 1, day 1: exam, X-ray if needed, and implant placement.
- Day 2–3: check-up and healing instructions, then home.
- About 3 months later, day 1: check-up and impression.
- Day 2–4: try-in and fitting of the permanent zirconia crown.
Crowns, veneers and Hollywood smile: one trip
- Day 1: exam, smile planning and tooth preparation, temporary crowns or veneers.
- Day 2–5: made in the lab, shape and shade try-in.
- Day 5–7: permanent crowns or veneers fitted and bite checked.
How to plan your trips
- Send an X-ray before you travel: you'll know the plan and the number of days in advance.
- For implants, book both trips, about three months apart.
- For All-on-4, stay at least 4 days the first time, for the check-up after surgery.
- For crowns and veneers, allow 5 to 7 days, because the lab needs time to make them and for the try-in.
- Ask your dentist about flying after treatment, especially after a sinus lift.
Can everything be done in one trip?
For crowns, veneers and a Hollywood smile, yes. For implants, no: the permanent teeth go in only once the implant has fused with the bone, after about three months. Offers like "implants and permanent teeth in three days" deserve a close look: they usually mean temporary teeth, with the permanent ones coming later.
